Retreat cancellations

Please cancel as early as possible so that we have the best chance of filling your place – our retreats often having waiting lists. Please let us know of any cancellation by contacting

We keep our retreat fees as low as low as possible and aim to be as flexible as we can with bookings, but we have to balance this with financial and practical considerations. For example, we need to cover the costs of venues, ongoing administration and development and maintaining a Retreatant Support Fund to help those who are not able to meet the standard fee.

For non-residential retreats:

  • If you cancel early (at least 3 weeks before the start of the retreat) and you request a refund, we will refund your payment less £10.
  • If you cancel late (3 weeks or less before the start of the retreat) we will not usually refund your payment. However we recognise there may be unavoidable circumstances for late cancellation such as illness and family crises, so if you request a refund we will consider refunding your payment less £10.

For residential retreats:

  • If you cancel at least one month before the start of the retreat we will refund the fees paid by you less a cancellation charge of £20.
  • If you cancel within one month of the start of the retreat, your retreat fee is not refundable. However if there are exceptional grounds for a late cancellation and our costs allow, we may consider refunding part of your retreat fee. Please note that this is entirely at our discretion and may not be processed until after the retreat.
  • If you fail to attend without giving any notice the full retreat fee is payable.
  • Bookings are not transferable.
  • In the event that we have to cancel your booking for any reason, we will notify you of this as soon as possible and refund any fees paid by you. In this event our liability to you is limited to refund of fees already paid by you, and does not include reimbursement for any consequential losses which may be incurred by you such as non-refundable travel tickets. If this is a concern for you then you may wish to take out appropriate holiday insurance which includes cover for cancellation.
