We are pleased to confirm that Zohar Lavie will be leading a two day non-residential retreat on:
Saturday 21st June and Sunday 22nd June 2025
At the Whirlow Spirituality Centre S11 9SY
A Path of Peace
Dharma teachings and practices invite us to engage with our experience with care, attentiveness and wisdom. As we develop these skills of intention and attention, possibilities of wellbeing open up. A wellbeing that includes the personal and relational aspects of our lives, a cultivation of peacefulness that is inclusive as it is radiant, a gift to ourselves and to the world.
The day will include silent and guided meditation, teachings, meditation instruction and time for discussion. Meditation periods will last 30-45 minutes and will include practice both in stillness in
the hall and in movement outside.
The days will be held in companionable silence, including during the lunchtimes. Chairs, mats, meditation cushions and hot drinks will be available. There will be an opportunity to meet and chat with others at the end of each day.
The weekend will be suitable for beginners and more experienced meditators. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
Zohar Lavie has been practising meditation in different traditions since 1995. This journey has taken her from the meditation cushion into exploring further ways of expressing truth and love,
and in 2004 she co-founded Sanga Seva . She now spends most of her time facilitating retreats that offer service as a spiritual path around the world. Since 2006 she has been teaching on
silent retreats and Dharma gatherings in India, Europe and Israel.
