We offer meditation evenings on alternate Tuesdays online. There is an early group 6.15 – 7.15pm, particularly for newcomers to meditation, with some instruction and guided meditation, and a later session 7.30 – 9pm for all-comers. The sessions include sitting and walking meditation, and there are sometimes discussions on a theme connected with meditation practice. You are welcome to come to both sessions & there is no need to book.

(We have switched from Google Hangouts to Zoom as we hit a numbers limit with Hangouts.)

You can just view and listen (you’ll need speakers or headphones). For us to hear you, you’ll need a microphone connected (unmute only when speaking). For us to see you, you’ll need a camera connected.

In alternate sessions (led by Julian) we are reading and discussing Thich Nhat Hanh’s 5 Mindfulness Trainings (based on the Buddhist 5 precepts):

  • Tue 7 Apr: Mindfulness Training 3: True Love (refrain from sexual misconduct)
  • Tue 5 May: Mindfulness Training 4: Loving Speech and Deep Listening (refrain from wrong speech)
  • Tue 2 Jun: Mindfulness Training 5: Nourishment and Healing (refrain from intoxicants)
